Always wanted to be a Flapper or a 60s Gogo dancer? Les ReBelles are that and more. Through dance, we celebrate the historic fight for women’s rights by visiting the different eras when significant progress was made towards “La Liberation de la Femme”. Think 1920’s flapper, 1960’s go-go, turn of the century French Cancan, etc… All that, with a French twist!

You have always danced or always wanted to? Then, it is time to join us. We have several dance courses per year. You can join any of them when they start: September, October and right after Mardi Gras. At the end of each course, you have the option to perform at some event or club around town. We regularly perform at La Fête Française, French Quarter Fest, fundraisers for various international schools, Bridge House, etc.

Les ReBelles are both a performance groupe and a Mardi Gras tradition by marching in Krewe Bohème. Interested in marching with us? Email us at nolarebelles@gmail.com. No audition required. Anyone can join. We start recruiting in August through October.

Interested in having entertainment by Les Rebelles? Tell us your vision and we will bring our “Je Ne Sais Quoi” to your event.
